Does anyone actually pay attention to their houses

And by that, I mean house positions. I was never really one to give them a second glance, but after yesterday, I've been a little more interested. As stated before, I'm a fairly calm person (for whatever reason), and I never really had an answer as to why except that I learned patience over time and happened to have really high tolerance for a lot of things. VirgoKing said to me, "I know you have a lot of libra in your chart and you love peace..." Well, the thing is, I DON'T have libra in my chart. But I jokingly said to myself that I sounded like a libra even though I have no air placements. Well, I went to look back at my chart, and instead of looking at the main planets, i looked at my houses. I have libra in the third house which controls social and intellectual learning, and it has a high degree rate. The better description is:

She looks for refined people, with whom to have long discussions, without raised voices of any kind. Harmony and peace is very important. In early life, she worried that her siblings were getting along.

That describes me a lot. While I already knew that I hated confrontation and arguments, it was still pretty accurate.

So, does anyone else look at their houses (which pertain to specific areas rather than as a whole like the planets) and notice things about themselves that are described by these placements?

I do. The rising sign is the 1st house.

Libra is in my third too.

I'm sorry hon.. you really do seem to hate venus. I never really noticed what kind of affect these placements could have/describe. Considering all the mess that has occured with the pisces these last few days, ironically, I have pisces in a lot of house positions. My seventh house is in pisces. Go figure...
