No, it's not 100% accurate, but it's a pretty good filter for the average faker.

P-Angel herself admitted to having more than one DXP screen name, and several other DXP'ers have changed names / deleted profiles many many times. I did it once, and for reasons I plainly stated.

For all we know, P-Angel & Sea Siren & MsPisces are all the same person. Who knows??

Speaking of P-Angel: Once again, the great I Tricked DY With A Set-Up Confession Letter conspiracy theory is raised, and it's every bit as ridiculous now as it's ever been!

ONCE AGAIN, HERE'S HOW IT REALLY WENT DOWN...

1. P-Angel sends me a PM confessing to her callous manipulations of us DXP members: ?This is fiction .. like writing a book .. these are just characters to direct for my entertainment. Does that make me bad? Ok !!!? [Interesting that P-Angel used the word fiction that's now being applied to me by another (?) Pisces.]

2. I publish the message in the thread, Q-Bone, You Were Right! on 2/12/2007 6:36:38 PM [as dyrstr8z]. After several DXP'ers respond with outrage, P-Angel starts the ?set-up? crap. I didn't ask Gallop to do a poll, but by the next day, a majority of posters to the thread weren't buying what she was selling.

3. Feeling the pressure, P-Angel tried to shut virgogotme and dyrstr8z up with this thread:

That's what really happened. Lots of us DXP veterans remember. For the new members, I have all of the web pages saved, and I posted a screen shot of P-Angel's confession after one of my threads challenging you that night got deleted using the old system. I figured a photo on my profile would be harder to delete, and so far that seems to be the case...

I continued to ?taunt? you whenever you tried that silly set-up spin sh1t like you're attempting now. And for many months, you simply would not acknowledge that you made such a crazy claim.

None of us on DXP knows for sure what anyone does for a living. We can claim to be whatever we want / would like to be. I would hope that we're honest with each other, but who knows??

Sure, my posts could be complete fiction. I can't prove you wrong. I've never claimed to be a great Virgo writer ? like Tolstoy or Lawrence ? and most of my published work was for journals dealing primarily with Central European History (my second Master's). My personal web site is not great literature, either ? techy stuff related to my paid job for the most part. So, if my flowery prose on DXP starts sounding like a Harlequin Romance, call me on it. It won't hurt my feelings to get pointers on self-expression. I do take offense when my honesty is challenged, but after almost two years on DXP, I think I'm getting a little bit better about that, too.

?Nevermind the fact that a father with new twins wouldn't have time to post on a message board all night. If he does, how in he hell could he have a such an "ideal" marriage when they're not spending any time together??

Debra has everything at home under control. That was my gripe. The only areas still reserved for me: The Yard and The Cars. I pitch in and help with The Twins where I can, but as they're still on the breast, my contributions are limited. Not that our babies are angels, but they finally have their days & nights straight. Aside from eating, sleeping, and pooping, they're not doing a whole lot right now.

I post to DXP when my real life permits. By the summer, I'm sure all 4 of us at this house will be busier, and you'll see less of me on here ? same as in other busy times since March 2006.

I've written it before, but maybe you missed it: I'm on a military installation, and while I can read DXP at work, I can't log in, so I write my responses, and then copy & paste them to the site when I get home ? that's why many of the ?brain dumps? occur right after I log on. That's also why some of my responses lag way behind the live conversations.

I can't prove that Debra is real. I post some of our stuff, but I also try to limit some details because I told her I would. I also realize I'm long-winded, so I try to keep it short when I can.

I could have written:

2. She got mad as hell at me.
3. I apologized, and we made up. (I thought!)
4. I won't do that sh1t again.
5. What the hell was I thinking?

Would that be better? It would certainly be harder for the confessed manipulators on DXP to parse those few words...
