Checking In

Computer problems have made it difficult to stay in the loop w/ this Board. Thanks to you all who have messaged me. Lots of stuff going on! Major thing is I'm recovering from getting my folks moved---they lived with me all Summer and, really, I ended up taking care of EVERYTHING----bills, rent, car repairs, insurance, etc., etc., for them. Thank God I've had some nice successful months with enough resources---cuz that ain't easy! Anyway, finally got them sent off to their Winter home---but it takes awhile to get back to normal! Freedom again! What do you know!

Meanwhile, I'm still in this wonderful limbo relationship with Libra Girl. For her birthday? I took her our for a nice Oktoberfest dinner then to the live musical South Pacific. Yeah, she was spoiled. Yeah, she smiles a lot and gives me google eyes BUT she's not interested in the least in a romantic relationship---so I'm very cool. Or, more specifically, have become cool. Yes, cordial to celebrate her birthday----but I'm finding a lot of other things to do to fill my schedule to have less and less time for her. Wow, it's really sad. I'm a good catch. And she's really blowing it or blown it. Que sera sera, I guess.

So now I'm pursuing a certain young lady at the bank. Great sense of humour. Flirty. Fun. We'll see it that develops in a LTR.

And working hard, which is typical for me. Hope all my Libra friends have been having great birthdays and great relationships.

Great to hear from you Atom. That was nice of you to do that for libra girl. What sign is the girl at the bank. Really, see what is can happen with her and focus some of that energy from the Libra girl to the new prospect. This will help...

Atom, you seem like a very nice and genuine person...I'm sure Libra will eventually realize what she has lost. Take care of you and keep on fighting the good fight. And definitely pursue the young lady at the bank. You're too good to sell yourself short...

Thank you, all. kg, I like your style , as you know. Don't know the sign of the girl at the bank but she has a very quick wit, sing-song voice and tons of energy. May be a fire sign. Or a Gem----but the girl seems consistent in her personality (no dualism I can perceive so far), so I'm guessing Sag or Scorp. Or, my oh my, Aries— Whatever sign she is there are sparks flying.

HP, why do you guess that? Intuition? 'Cause she works at a bank? I hope she's NOT a Capricorn. I've had some GREAT relationships w/ Cappy women BUT they are ALWAYS so serious. And I don't think she's a Virgo----not quite the nit-picky type. Taurus? Wouldn't be too bad. At least we'd enjoy the arts together and she'd be fiercely loyal.

She could be a leo. If she was nervous energy or timid at all, I would say Libra. If more smooth yet cool, aqua.

LS, She may be an Aqua but doesn't seem to have the irrational thinking / quirkiness my Aqua friends have. COULD be a Leo but I'll know that later if she insists in basking in the sun and grabbing the spotlight (which I get a kick out of BTW---Chatz in particular. You KNOW I'm your biggest fan!). IF she's a Libra, I could be a Lucky Duck---cuz she's showing interest in me----'doesn't seem to have the cool-ness most of my Libra friends have, though. IF she's a Scorp, QS, WOW. I ALWAYS connect with Scorpios. I'm leaning more toward the Air Signs though because her wit is VERY fast and VERY smart. And she's a flirt like most Gem Girls I know.

kg, Visited the bank today but she wasn't there. I don't want to interrupt her during business anyway. LAST time I was at the bank I asked for her last name so I could send her a card. She seemed to like that and wrote down her last name. So I sent her a card w/ a short note inside to call me. So we can do coffee / lunch, etc. Also, this will let me know if I'm reading her signals correctly. Heck, I figure her giving me her last name is good start! I should get a call late this PM, or tomorrow or the next day. And if I don't, she got a nice card from a guy who would love to go out with her.
