I need ideas on how to keep my mind off of him...
Are you kidding me? There must be a million things you could do by yourself and for yourself that you have'nt been able to do in a while because he has been in your life. What did you used to do before him when you were single? Plus just think about how great it will be that he misses you and you miss him and what fun you will have when he gets back.
Don't ever lose your self in a man. Keep your independence. Men love it when you have your own life and don't depend on them for all of your happiness. I'm not saying you are doing this. I don't know your situation. Just making a statement.

Thanks guys, you make a lot of sense. I'm fiercly independent, but it's sooooooooo hard not to think of him allllll the time. Espcially now that I'm near graduation and I'm kind of in a waiting process and turning point in life trying to decide what the next step is in life. Go for my masters? Real estate? Don't know... I guess I just have too much time on my hands right now that hard core studying is over. I'm gonna miss talking to him on the phone for hours as we usually do. We don't live together or anything. Everything is still very knew. I can't talk to him in LA, he would be racking up the roaming charges. Sigh.....NO communication with him for a whole two weeks is gonna be a killer.

Text message him. It's much cheaper. Most plans it's even free. Maybe he will also be able to check his e-mail. Just remember that he is doing something very exciting in his life and he will be very busy and time will fly by for him so if he doesn't seem to miss you quite as much as you missed him don't take it personally and be very supportive of his music career or he will resent you for giving him a hard time.
Have fun being single again for a couple of weeks and having some time to rejuvenate your soul.
