I don't see how this guy could be responding much better than he is. I have Aries Moon (same Sun and Merc too) and it seems like his Moon hasn't kicked in fully YET, (hang onto your hat when it does), but if you keep giving him cues, it's just a matter of time.
You won't have to wonder when it happens, but he's very likely trying to be sure you're up for it before letting his Moon off its leash. I understand your desire for reciprocation, and it's legitimate, but at this stage of the relationship I'd suggest that you don't suddenly change your behavior because he'll notice and may think something has gone wrong. The greatest risk in new relationships is misunderstanding/misinterpreting each other, so assume it will happen and guard against it.
Meanwhile, relax and enjoy it.

He apperently thought I was "cooler" than him or some shit, so he wasnt sure if all the things I do are fo real 😄 So I reassured him, we snuggled up on the hammock, listened to some music, discussed a lot. It appears we both feel absolutely chill around each other. We were touchy-touchy and at one point he gave me the sweetest kiss aghhhh.
