This is a big factor right here. Once he trusts you fully he should open up more, but I wouldn't force it on him. Give him time.

My leo ex isn't a virgo, but does have a virgo rising. He had trouble trusting women too after his last ex cheated on him. It made it harder for him to warm up to me. But eventually he did.

I don't know your virgo. Maybe he doesn't like kissing. But the trust is a big factor on his part. He'll need to get over that before he will become affectionate

I hate kissing on the lips- it's like too close you know? Not my thing. One of my exs (still friendly actually-great guy) is a Virgo sun with aqua moon. He also had Venus in Scorpio (which I seem unable to escape), he was super caring but 100% did not allow or like public affection. He also was not a big kisser and didn't like to give oral. He was sexy but in a clean sorta way. He was like that with emotions too. ANYways--to the OP, I love kissing, but once dated an Aqua who had the coldest tongue in the world. To make matters worse, he darted his tongue out like a snake, repeatedly, which just totally turned me off.

He did what I'm suggesting you do now--he ASKED me why I didn't like kissing him.

I came out and told him, because I'd rather he know it's the kiss I'm not feeling and not him. He asked me to show him how I'd be comfortable kissing, and I showed him. The kissing got better in terms of him not darting his tongue out anymore, but his tongue was still quite cold (like he'd been sucking on ice cubes all day), so I never really got off on kissing him, and avoided it when I could.

Just ask, and don't let anyone chase you away from a sun sign because of something so trivial. An individual kisses the way an individual kisses, not the way their sign does--and anyone who tells you otherwise is small minded, and should refrain from pulling advice out of their ass and tossing it at others.

Well, I've read all the helfpful comments and I'm really grateful, and believe me it takes a lot of nerve to come out here and admit this cause as long as Ive been with him, since Jan 2011, Ive been on this board , visiting ,trying to understand Virgo men.
He is 40 and his ex wife cheated on him and drove his car to las vegas with her men etc etc... so he has a lot of trust issues with women. It appears he did not want to get a divorce and did try to make it work as he has a daughter.

I know he has a lot going on in that big Virgo brain of his constantly analysing an coming up with his own formulas on the way of life. He is 19 September, 1972 and I am 30 september,,,, so I would imagine he is on the cusp of Libra. we get along great except for the physical part and he did admit he can go long periods without sex, as he has to be attracted to woman's mind to get physical with her or even get into a relationship since he prefers long term..... However, in the beginning he was all over me, but somewhere alogn the way , I distincly recognise the push /pull thing come in about 3 months after then completely disappear .At this moment I have not heard from him for an entire week since I got tired of going over by him for the weekend and a big chasm in the bed between us, and jus gettin pecks for kisses and s** on his terms. Pretty much one sided I would say.

To clear things up, he was the one who approached me pursued me said I love you many times in the first 3 or 4 months,only to see this complete 360 now. I have tried on many occasions gently hinting asking wondering out loud without accusing cause I know this thing with his ex wife cheating on him hurt him alot.

But I was falling in love with him and then I am meeting all these red stop signs sorta made me put a stop on my feelings too..... He said that he is a very shy and reserved person and that the fact that he spends time with me says alot..... Lord its so frustrating cause I just wanna be affectionate with him and I am meeting all this coldness in the bed, and no kissing etc,,,,,

I am sooo close to just tellin him take a hike.....

I also might add he is big on doing countless acts of service for me, in the practical sense so he gets A+ for that I am quite happy with that, However, this is the same way he will treat all those close around him attending to their practical needs without being asked. criticising my driving or the lint of my clothes or whatever, he has that eye for detail,,,, but still!!!! it's like he is trading off the acts of service for the actual physical......
