Oh hunny, have you no knowledge about a virgo? Of COURSE he's going to analyze it to death. And now that you played him with a joke that honestly shouldn't have been messed around with, he probably won't be sure what to think. To incite a reaction like that, the virgo has some deep feelings and obviously still cares; when someone we love hurts us, it cuts deep because we're so choosy about who we pick to be in our lives.
This is a prime example of my experience with Pisces women.
The joking style s are vastly different. Misinterpretations are common.
For you this is normal, for him it is crossing the line.
If he text that he loves you, there is still hope.

look yall dont understand. i didnt know he still had feelings for me.until i did that i didnt plan that or nothing i thought he really didnt care about it until he starting cursing me out. but you have to see it on the Pisces part me and him use to date 2yrs ago was off and on until last summer then he disappeared for about 8 months until this year he told why he left and that he confessed to me when we were dating he was cheated on me with his ex. And he said that he couldn't think of one time he even got mad at me he said that i was good to him and he should've done me the way he did back in the past. i loved this virgo.i mean i didnt know he still love me because he never act liked it. and we dont really talk that often i told him a couple weeks ago im talking to this guy that treates me right. and he was right i did deserve better than him. and i wasn't trying to be rude or nothing and he was like thats not being rude it is what it is. That's why i thought he wouldn't care if i was to be engaged or not. you have to see that this virgo put me threw alot he lied to me and was messing around with other girls even when we did brake up and was talking. this wasn't no revenge or nothing. i apologized to him. i really didnt think this would effect him since virgo dont show any emotions half the time.
You have to understand that two wrongs don't make a right. Even if you think you had a right to do that, and you felt it was going to be harmless, you could have easily just asked/opened up about it. Just because a virgo doesn't show emotions doesn't mean he doesn't have any. It just sort of makes you look like the crazy bitch. I'm sorry if I seem harsh, but you need to rethink how you approach these things. Like CJ said, the fact he said he still loved you means you still somewhat in the clear, but that virgo is going to have a shield up. Even if you think you deserved better, you probably still harbor some feelings for him too if you felt the need to get an answer from him, and in the most convoluted way.

Yes, he will have a shield up. Lest you drop a bomb on him again.
He will be extra cautious and will require more a serious apology and a lot of reassuring words and actions.
However, judging by your account of your history with him, it is inadvisable that you warm up to and become intimate with him again.

I'm not a virgo and "incite" was bothering me. However, considering the question of the OP, and the actions involved with telling her virgo she was engaged when she wasn't, perhaps in this case "incite" is the correct term.

I think you should be more worried about if he's not texting you like two weeks from now. Let your apology rest and go on. As long as you feel you were honest in what you wanted to say, let it go. Virgos need time to let it sink in. No matter what happens, take this experience with you and realize how you should approach things from now on.

because i was textin my x virgo and we was talking and so i decided to play a lil joke on him just cause about me getting in engaged to someone else. i told him that i was happy and that i havent been happy in a long time. and if he is happy for me and would he come to my wedding.
