as for chasing

I like to chase, Im good at it and it almost always ends up working out in my favor. I think I like it more than the sex actually and I like sex a lot. BUT it can be a big investment of energy so I only seriously do it under certain circumstances. Namely I need to be getting some bits of reciprocation along with the resistance, thats what makes it a competition and fun for me. If im not getting any signs back and just disinterest then its not worth my time and I usually wont care enough to turn it around.
