Maybe he would like to take his time with you.And maybe he doesn't want a relationship right now.His friendship with you is so valuble that he doesn't want to do anything drastic to lose it.Keep backing him up 100 % though.Don't act so cold around him.If you do that more , the more vulnerable he gets , and with that , he's more likely to push you away and you don't want that.Give him time , but at the same time, keep chipping this "brick wall" he's building around you by asking what he's afraid of .And if it is relationships, don't lecture him .
Thanks for the advice G... I wrote him a letter telling him how a feel the other day, and he sent his response a day or two ago, and guess what? You were absolutely right. He loves our friendship, and doesn't want to hurt it in any way... that was great to hear from him, and lucky me- guess what else he said. He feels the same way about me that I have felt about him... so here's to the start of something wonderful and new... We'll drink to that! wooohooo....

I have a friend whom is a virgo kinda guy. I'm asking you because you may have a libra moon. He's has the usual virgo traits- he's smart, well- organized, sarcastic, fun- loving yada yada yada. Okay- so here it comes---- he's interested in me, and I must admit that I respect him enormously, and I'm ready to back him in all good things that he undertakes.. but when I'm with him, we are lacking something. It's preventing me from making a commitment to him. I would really like to, but I can't. I've tried talking to him about us, but to no avail. It's had little or no affect on our situation. What can I say to him to make him understand that we do not yet have electric chemistry? He is sincerely trying to be more open with me, and I want to reward him for that.. but I'm still so cold towards him... what in the world can I do?
