Well to be honest I'd love to live in a place surrounded by lots of nature BUT at the same time having the benefits of city life 😛

Makes sense.

however I have said many times on here that my ideal place to retire in peace would be a farm somewhere in southern France (with lots of grandchildren around) and that still is one of my wishes..

Beautiful place Canjun! I'm not a warm climate person, but I can appreciate how lovely your home is 🙂

I grew up in a city and it was a lot of fun. But now I live in the country, about 15 miles from a small city and 80 miles from my home city. Best of all worlds! And also very green and rainforesty.

There were plenty of city kids who did nothing but watch tv and never left their home neighborhood.

Exactly, just goes to show you had a better upbringing.

Definitely the more popular tourist choice. Everything is a lot nicer there ie People, Beaches and Sites.
