Virgo and Scorpio sisters

So I have an older sister who's a Scorpio, and we don't have the closest relationship. We don't talk anymore and I've felt like we're complete opposites, we use to be close as kids, but her boyfriend (Libra) seems to get between us sometimes. She bickers with our Taurus father a lot and it makes me more angry because I relate to him more than most of my family. I've researched a lot about Scorpio and Virgo relationships and I was shocked to find our signs are actually very similar. I love Scorpios because they always seem so open and uncaring of other people's opinions, but me and her don't seem to click. We're both assertive and independent, but she's more hot-headed and hates discipline while I strive on discipline and staying collected. Any ideas why we just don't click?
