Virgo ignoring me

New here, but trying to get some opinions. I'm a Taurus male who met a Virgo girl online. We messaged a number of times and eventually I asked her out. She lives a little ways away from me, so we've only gone out a few times, but we were texting everyday (usually multiple times a day). On our third date, she ran into someone who knew her parents and assumed I was her husband, but she corrected her and told her I was her boyfriend (I thought "ok, that's cool"), and at the end of the night, we had a goodnight kiss (didn't do that on the other 2 dates). We texted for a few days after that, and she said she was glad we went out, she had fun, let's do it again, etc... For the last week or so though, she's pretty much ignored me. I've sent her a couple texts just to see how her day went, etc.. but no reply at all. I've read that Virgos can sometimes "disappear" when they need to think and need their space, but I'm having a tough time with it. My questions are: 1) is the "disappearing act" because she's interested and needs to think things through, or is it something else? 2) if she is interested in me, and just pulling back to collect her thoughts, what do I do in the meantime? Do I send her a text once in a while to see how she's doing, or do I just go away and hope she comes back eventually? Virgos I need help!

Thanks for the reply. She did end up getting back to me and said that she enjoyed our time together, but she needs to get stuff straight on her end (she had just gotten out of a 2 1/2 year long relationship about 5-6 months before we started seeing each other) and she wasn't ready to move on yet. We had a short but upfront text conversation after that and she said that when she decides that she is ready, that I'd be the first person she calls. We'll see, but for some reason I kinda believe her.
