Virgo with PTSD

I recently started detaching myself from this Virgo guy. He seemed to be very talkative about a lot of things but not his feelings. He noticed I was being a little distant so he asked me if he should take my hints. I told him that I wanted a small time out from things because I wasn't sure about his intentions. Then he goes on to tell me that he likes me and that he doesn't know why I'm not reading that from him. He also told me he has PTSD from being in the Army and he has a hard time expressing or receiving emotions. I'm not sure how I feel about him anymore. Like is he telling me he likes me because I wasn't showing him the regular attention anymore?

Possibly. Whether he felt like he was losing you so had to tell it before it was too late, or simply likes you now that he's getting less attention. i'm guessing the former though.
