I just wanna get some input on what this mean... (Bare with me) Im a woman and my virgo ex gf and I broke up in February. Now when we broke up, I believe she put me in the "friend zone." Directly after the break up, I never contacted her. I just tried to work to separate myself and get over her. Almost every time we spoke she contacted me. The one time I did contact her (A month later), I told her about how she was acting toward me toward at the end of our relationship (She was being really mean and cold, and had an attitude for no reason, I was nothing but supportive of her). 2 days Later, I get a text from her saying,
Her: "I want to apologize for how I made you feel toward the end of our relationship. Ive been thinking about it. I wasnt fair to you. You were there for me more than anyone has been."
Me: "Its appreciated"
And that was the end of that. She still would randomly hit me up, informing me about things going on in her life. I gave brief answers because I was still in love with her and it was hard to accept being friends. (I still miss her).
Anyway... 4 months have gone by since Ive last spoken to her in any way. Her birthday passed at the end of August but I didn't send her bday wishes. My birthday passed a few days ago, and she text me "Happy birthday," and I was so shocked
Me: "I wasnt expecting that, I appreciate it."
Her: "Youre welcome."
I didnt say anything else. 2 days later, I get a another text from her and she sounded kinda mad, saying,
Her: "You know, Let me just say this. Of all the ppl I expected not to wish me a happy bday, I didnt think you'd be one of them, Ever (her ex before me) sent me a happy bday. I didn't expect it to play out like that. I see I was wrong."
I actually sent a text back saying I thought of her, and I hoped she had a good day, but I figured she forgot about me. I didnt know if it was appropriate to say anything. Then I said "For my assumptions... I will apologize."
Her: "I accept your apology"
Me: Good Times
I didnt say anything else... Now 2 days later (Today), I get a text from her saying, "So how have you been?"
I havent text her back yet because I havent had the time just yet, and It all confuses me.
