My Cancer mother has accused me of being selfish - I even made her cry without understanding what she meant. Anyway, Virgos are not sentimental and that can be misunderstood. I've been accused of being mean when I meant to help people instead of hurting them. Scorpio is Virgo's mutual counterpart, and they're extremely private people. Like Virgos, they're often accused of the same things!

Oh crap man... Both Virgo's and Scorpio's use this "please don't hurt little ole me" escape thing because they create so much s*** in their OWN lives and are used to getting THEMSELVES into trouble. Reason being that they are so busy manipulating people and situations to get what they want. They know very well what they are doing and when caught out they eventually don't even like themselves anymore, but even that becomes someone else's fault.

I have to agree with the last posting. Thank you - you took the words right out of my mouth! I have a few virgo friends whom I love and cherish. My ex boyfriend was a virgo - and he had all these traits. He created so much havoc and chaos in his life, and then he was the victim. I loved him dearly, but cut him out of my life because I couldn't take the emotional stress. Incredibly self absorbed and sneaky. I know I deserved so much better. I notice people born under this sign (with no cusp) are very, very difficult to figure out! You're not all that!

just a little comment ..virgos are caring and loving its as simple as that..what they don't like is lies and deceit..i'm sure no good sign does ..sometimes you get some virgos who are assholes but the most of them are good..every sign gotta bad side to them

Virgo's bore me to tears. They bother me with there control issues. They irritate me with their obsessive/compulsive disorders. And they do nothing "GREAT" except try to gage other people in order to find "their" weakness so they can take advantage, manipulate and later suck the blood and life right out of them. I found that the Virgo men I have known all have one quality--a real "milk toast" personality. No spine or gumption. Sorry Virgies but it's a consistent trait I've experienced. Also, Virgo men tend to think of themselsves first which doesn't bide well with others. Don't expect a ride to the airport from a Virgo male. Virgo female will though.

I could not have said this better - mind you, I have a few virgo friends that don't posses this trait whatsoever - they are truly, down to earth wonderful people, whom I love dearly. HOWEVER, my ex was the "other" kind mentioned in your post and UGH!
Almost drove me emotionally out of my mind. He had ALL these traits - I couldn't take it anymore!!!

168, 209--You hit the nail on the head!!! You're right on the money. When I read your post I thought of two past co-workers I loathed--one was a Scorp--the other a Virgo and yes there were some manipulations by them!

I love Virgos; in fact I have never had a single problem with a Virgo in my whole life. The male ones have never come across as spineless, wimpy or milk-toast (and trust me, I would notice it if they were as those are qualities I loathe in men). I like the female Virgos too. I find that this sign makes for particularly loyal friends. I think it's because the Virgo and the Scorpio understand each other; the scorp can handle blunt honesty when it's sincere, and the Virgo has a calming effect on the scorp.
