What's your role?

Are you virgos good at making concrete decisions? Are you guys good at organizing chaotic situations? For the most part I am (Aries moon makes me a tad bit impulsive), but besides that I noticed that I tend to be the decision maker amongst my friends...

For example, yesterday my friends and I had a meeting about a trip we are planning to go on together. We discussed prices for hotel rooms, who is driving, ticket prices..etc

The Zodiac signs present were: 2 Sagittarius', 1 Taurus, 3 Cancers, 1 Scorpio, Capricorn, and me (Virgo).

-(We also have an Aquarius friend, but she was not present at the meeting)

-The Sags there were the most rational in all aspects. They let everyone know the truth and did not hold back.
-The Cancers were so emotional and indecisive about everything! Especially one Cancer in particular, she could not commit to anything, it was pretty annoying
-The Scorpio just sat there and pouted the whole meeting and seemed annoyed about everything.
-The Taurus was all about the business, she handled the money naturally.
-The Cap reassured everything and stated the facts.
-As for myself, I felt like I was the person that was keeping everyone from fighting each other lol. I naturally became the secretary and wrote down everything and made sure everyone fully understood everything so that there would not be confusion later on...

So what are your roles?

In our circle of friends, my Virgo husband normally takes the role of "The Protector".

He usually doesn't intervene while a discussion is going on, or an issue in which parties are at odds with each other .. he usually just sits back and watches, listens.

However, if something gets out of hand, or bickering ensues, or any kind of situation or emotion that seems out-of-control ... he steps up to the plate, and doesn't take a side with either party, rather, protects the integrity of all individuals involved by expressing that all of them have value in their point, in their own right.

Once his intervention has brought people back to being composed .. he again sits quietly and observes.

Perhaps, it's a Virgo thing, then. I suppose that sounds more like a mediator, rather than a protector, though.

At face value, I tend to lead and make decisions for whatever group / outing we have going but people are also surprised that I'm not a Leo (I have Leo Ascending so I'm assuming that's where the outward influence comes from 😛). BUT I find that I don't have the mentality that makes me ALWAYS have to be in that role. If the situation is one that doesn't need improvement or adjustments, I'm more than content to let it ride.

There is definately a part of me internally that is okay playing protector / mediator but a lot of times it gets overuled by sense of wanting "order / balance / just doing the damn thing correctly or don't do it at all" from a situation.

Hahaha scorps are SO DAMN CUTE when they go into brooding mode.

I'm a manager, so I have to make decisions. But, I prefer to get inputs / ideas from any of my staff affected by it before I commit...

I'm usually the mediator myself. Objective and neutral.
Though I won't hesitate to take the lead if everyone can't make up their minds.
