Why can't they just take it—
I cant take compliments either. I'd rather just a simple thank you or something like that. When someone compliments me, I rarely know what to say back other than a thank you. lol

I think it's a virgo thing. I like compliments personally. But when I get them I feel like the spotlight is just suddenly on me. And it kinda freaks me out so I get all quiet and distant.

it fuels their ego but they just get sortof shy and dont know how to respond. theres nothing more to it. lol
I think we might think that you are trying to manipulate us ("butter us up") by laying on the compliments! Like you are after something!

I find that my virguy has a hard time receiving compliments. Does he think I'm not being genuine or does he even notice that I'm giving him one? Is this a trait of Virgos?? Please help!!!
