Why do he keeps disappearing

Hi.Im Mona im a CAPRICORN WOMAN(Dec.23). I was dealing with this Virgo(Aug.23). We were friends in the begining. I met him at the store he staired and then approach me, Of course i turned him down the first time. Then i ran into him again and again until i said ite we can be friends because im taken at the moment. Then he disappeared and just so happening 3 years later he found me on a social media network, he me up and said "I STILL WANT YOU". "ARE YOU STILL TAKEN". I wrote back and said"NO IM SINGLE". We started talking. He text and call everyday. We spent time togather maybe 3 or 4 times as we became closer like 2 or 3 months later we had sex, he said he loved me and wanted to be more than friends but i wasnt ready for that. I remind you he love my kids.. I then kind of started distance myself. He called i wouldnt answer or text, i would say ill call you back and wouldnt. he wanted the see me and spend time with me and i would stand him up. So i finally came around he say "Man Mona I LOVE YOU IN FRONT OF EVERY1)))) i said but its only been a month and we said we would be friends not to mention he made the decision. Je would get angry when i left. He asked my sister and god mom have they talk to me and try to get me the come to my sister but i would go cause i was afraid of the L WORD.. I wasnt ready and now that i am he want talk to me or text me back or nothing i dont see him when i go to my sister house.. Like what have i done. I text one time and ge replied back i love you and i said i dont love you but i do care about you but now i realize i really do love him. My number ha change so i wouldnt no if he text or call yet because im to afraid to text him because all i get is short sentences.Somebody help me understand HAVE I LOST MY VIRGO MAN FOR GOOD..

@youngali i told him we had to be friends because i was taken like how is that sending mix massages.. If you go back in read it. But i get where you are coming from it seems as if im playing with his feelings.

And not to mention it was in the (beginning) to give him a heads up

Okay so... You rejected him and played mind games.. Now you're asking why he keeps on disappearing on you?

If she wasn't ready for what he was at the time, what do you all suggest that she did?

I guess not having sex with him would be a start, but besides that?

He continued to come at her with full interest on his end, so even if she offered friendship would it have been genuine from him?

I get why he disappeared, but Im honestly curious to what she should have done differently.
