Why so much hate for Paz de la Huerta ?

This topic is years late, but I have always been curious:

Why do people (esp. women) love to hate on Paz?

Years late, because her career is on the inexistent side now.. (perhaps you guys don't even know who she is.. )
I wish someone could SAVE her (from herself?), because I found out recently that she is suing film and tv productions with whom she has worked in the past... (Who is your manager Paz— *angry*)

I'm posting this in the Virgo forum because she is one of us 🙂 !!
Her Sun is in Virgo, Moon in Sagittarius, Mercury in Virgo, Venus in Libra, etc.

I have been fascinated by her ever since I saw "Enter the Void" by Gaspar Noé. She also had a memorable role in "Limits of Control" by Jim Jarmusch.
(I have not seen her other works though)
I wouldn't say she is a good actress, but what I like about her acting is that you can FEEL it's her and not just a character...

She exudes this "inappropriate" demeanor, without even trying.
Yet, also contradictory because I think she has this innocence... Her seductive nature isn't calculated nor controlled, it's just who she is... I also find her terribly naïve when paparazzis and interviewers asks her absurd questions, and she bites on the bait 😢
She probably isn't an Ivy Leaguer, but I don't find her stupid... I think she is interesting, different, other worldly. (sometimes very high and drunk 2, but I don't judge)

I also find her terribly attractive. Her strangeness adds to the hotness and I think it works really well for her!

Is think she is just an easy target to hate on... She is weird and beautiful (but not in a classical way), she is not into conformity, and MORE importantly because despite the differences, she is Comfortable in her own skin. (and I noticed that many women hate that trait in other women who are 'different', am I wrong ?)

I have only seen Enter the void (where she is a stripper in tokyo) Highly Recommend this film if you haven't seen it (watch the trailer), and Limits of Control (this film was a bit long, but that was Jarmusch's was going for)

I think she is famous for Nurse 3D, haha.

Yes, she is so awkward 😭
I wish she would do some effort, and prepare herself more for the interviews sometimes... *wants to protect her* but I don't think she really cares 🙂

I like her acting. Granted I've never seen her in interviews and I've only watched her in Boardwalk Empire...I was upset when her character was cut out.

She seems interesting and not a cookie cutter but I hope that's more due to her personality than drugs. If it's drugs, that's really unfortunate and tragic.

But, no hate here.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it is her personality!
I can relate with her weirdness.. her interviews are kind of painful to watch because i feel like looking at myself sometimes, haha.

this one was mythical, but they took it down 😢 there is a slow-mo one on youtube, but it's so mean 😭

I felt stupid for asking, didn't know what to answer because I still don't have a clue, haha. astrology is knowledge, that i clearly lack of.
but it interests me!

i hope her career isn't over though!
i have seen the trailer for nurse 3D and didn't think it was -that- rubbish. i think the role suits her 🙂 another femme fatale!

but it definitively was not a good idea suing past productions... who would want to hire someone that could potentially sue you 😢

maybe because her sun squares her moon, so it goes a bit cray cray?

i dont really know who she is,, but i've seen her before. she reminds me a bit of Amy Winehouse for some reason, but not TOO addicted. I can tell she does drugs but i think she has a good handle on her drug intake.

to be honest i dont like her lifestyle, it's too crazy, but then again, i dont like Lindsay lohan's lifestyle, or Mischa Barton's lifestyle, or too much wth drugs revolved around it.

LOL, Paz cracks me up 😆. Homegirl always looks crazy but like she's having fun at least.

And I was surprised to learn she's a Virgo. She seems more like a loony Cancer or Pisces to me. She's very sloppy and seems out of it most of the time. But the sad thing is that I think she might be an alcoholic. Not sure if that was ever confirmed.

yeah it is sad if she is. I know firsthand about alcoholism addiction (i was married to one as well)
