I am an aspiring writer and i would most certainly appreciate your advice on certain things.
1. In terms of submitting articles to magazines and newspapers what do you know about copyrighting? For example i want to submit one story to various magazines and newspapers all over the world how can I go about doing that? Do I just put on the article copyright or first serial rights? Is it correct or unecessary to tell them the editors (that is of the magazines)that i am planning to sell to other newspapers (in other countries and regions of course). Why because I do not want to take the risk to sell to try to publish only to one magazine not knowing if i will be published?
2.What would be your advice to me concerning these issues and overall advice for trying to get your articles published by way of freelance to magazines and newspapers? Please if you can I ask you for tips on how to avoid pitfalls and how to get some good results from this writing.
3.Is it possible for me to ask someone on this forum to appraise and examine my work just for fun and tell me i fit is good enough for publishing? If so interested please leave your email address..
