burns a million marshmallows,
Giving charred remains of passion
that blacken the night.
An entwined other summons the lover

Once eager ears do not deign
To hear the wrenchings from my brain.
No questioning looks come to me
When my eyes are filled with tragedy
In fact those glances seem to flee
When struck by my solemnity.
