for me down time does help me to refocus and decide that if I'm not happy, I need to accept that I played a part in my current condition and I need to play a part of changing it for the better, be it personal or global situations.

well, maybe not always, but you're right, if I look hard enough I can get real down real fast, but also, I could choose to see how fortunate I am compared to ppl that really suffer with physical pain or the anquish of war...
Yeah, I don't like animal cages either, but without that, you might not be able to eat as affordably as you do...I like to buy organic cage free eggs, but it costs almost $ 4 a dz!.....the fact is most of the meat you eat has been confined in order to make it feasible, both for you and the grower...
