once upon a time small fate happened
we'd hardly even noticed
as this exists against all odds
two paths crossed
across the endless universe
between us time has no place
as heavenly bodies keep the pace
like we're lost in a singularity
you idly take little pieces of me
feel my skin through your lips
my helpless response under your finger tips
any part of me through your skin
you breathe me in
endless universe for your eyes
all of these pieces to study and surmise

my star crossed being none the wiser
tangled in feelings for a strange outsider
