"Welfare queens" was a dirty political trick used by Reagan to shift focus from the immense robbery at the top. Republicans have a weird constituency of barely read rubes and dupes.. and extreme wealth. From the end of World War 2 to 1975, wealth distribution was fairly even but since '75, they've stolen around 2.5 trillion (yes trillion) a year.
