2010 Year in Review

Hey there fellow aquas!

Just wondering how 2010 went for you all. What did you expect? What really happened? And overall how you felt about the year in general.

What did you expect?

I expected a lot from myself from this year. I wanted to do certain things during the year and I expected to be able to have fun and enjoy the year. That's the main thing for me. I hope/expected to progress things with a girl that I was friends with, and to start a relationship with her.

Also, I wanted to meet new people and make new friends and try to build new friendships, while also maintaining closeness with my current close friends. Other things that I really wanted to do was take a holiday and see a lot of my favourite bands.

What really happened?

I went out with the girl that I mentioned above; but unfortunately a string of events led to me breaking up with her. As for work, well I spent a lot of time working for probably one of the most awkward and cold people that you could ever meet. I eventually left, because I had had enough.

I experienced several new things and did things that I hadn't done before, like parasailing at sunset in Spain — that was an amazing experience, mostly because it was spent with good friends. I also visited several other places that I hadn't been to, or hadn't been to in a while. I saw so many artists that I really like and admire — and that was one of my main goals for the year.

Also, I made some really good friends during the year and I met so many wonderful people.

And overall how you felt about the year in general.

I actually really enjoyed 2010 for the most part. I won't lie; there were ups and downs but you take the rough with the smooth in this life. The ups far outweighed the downs.

I really like 2010, I think it topped '09 for sure!

Well! Glad to see everyone had a pretty good year.

Unfortunately I can not say the same. Oh it was soooo not my year, very disappointing in more ways than one. I nearly died in midway through the year! Well, I'm hoping 2011 is MUCH better than 2010.

Congrats OFA on the wedding and the new addition! Your dress looked beautiful, btw.
