Aqua friend I spoke of before,

I hadn't heard from him in awhile, as I'd said. Not in a couple of months. I had feared that he wasn't happy that I had dinner with our mutual Sag friend. So I took initiative and texted him. Didn't bring up the Sag, though. He replied right away and instantly wanted to hangout. That was a couple weeks ago and we finally hung out yesterday. As I'd said, we had a romantic past. But it seems like it's slipping into friends territory. Not really sure. He took me to eat, then we went to his house and watched a movie. Was very chill, didn't kiss or anything like that. I'm not really expecting us to be romantic again, I mainly just missed my friend, and his offbeat antics. He's definitely one of a kind lol
So my point of this post is, does it sound like he's just trying to be friends and hang out more? Doesn't seem like he even knows about the dinner with the Sag; it wasn't a secret, because it was harmless. I just don't know how the Aqua reacts to something like that. What do you guys think?

You won't know unless he makes a move. Likely he enjoys your friendship and wants to rekindle that part of your relationship.

As far as dinner with the Sag, if it bothered him enough, he'll bring it up at some point when he feels comfortable. If not, it either means that it didn't bother him or that he's worked it out on his own, to his own satisfaction. I wouldn't bring it up on your end.
