Hi this is my first post on this site and I wanted a little insight from the aqua board. Me and my Aqua have been dating for about three months and within those months we have been communicating almost every day. All of a sudden this week he said he wanted to make it clear that we were just friends and he is not looking for a serious relationship right now.
We have both already made it clear to each other that we have feelings for one another and he says that he wanted to make it clear that we were just friends before we both got too attached.
The crazy thing about this all is that he still contacts me regularly to hang out and Ive gone to hang out with one of his friends with him after he told me that and I could tell that he was upset that I wasnt being as intimate with him as I usually am when he's made it clear that we are just friends and there is nothing more for us right now. After awhile he began to start acting very cold and shut off when I was dividing my attention between them both instead of my attention mainly being focused on him.
So I immediately cut off all of the intimacy because in my mind once you start getting physical with another the line of friendship blurs.
I guess I just need some insight on how to go about handling this going forward. Thanks.
