I've had a couple of Aqua friends and yes, they can be a little judgemental and fixed in their opinions of how everyone should behave. Plus they're not afraid to let you know, bluntly, what you're doing wrong in their eyes and how you should fix it (contrary to what astrology usually says about them).

This is just from my experience.

If you think there's something to take from his "advises" then do it, if not then it's important to let him know that you're not willing to change certain characteristics because they make you who you are, and he should accept them just like you're accepting many things about him that you are probably not very fond of.

in terms of giving advises, we're just as blunt as Sags, the difference is Sags will say it even if you're not ask them to.

Sadly yes. As much as a gem and aquas get along like white on rice, I had an ex Aquarius who was abusive and incredibly controlling. I'll never forget the days we went shopping together and could never understand why he would fight tooth and nail to get me to buy a product i was not in love with. This was from rugs to side tables and even women's shoes. Unfortunately there was more to that in the controlling factor, but i won't bore you wth details.

Yes, it's the paradox of Aquarians. I used to get "You should do this...." not "Have you thought about...". A subtle difference.

Be happy with who you are and be quietly assertive back. Or tell him you value his observations but would like the freedom to be yourself. Hopefully he understands.

They can be surprisingly stubborn in areas and open-minded the next. It can be very hard to guage (and I have venus and mars in Aquarius) but communicate that to him and hopefully he will get the picture soon that you wish to be accepted for being you.

I think I'm getting extra defensive because he's starting to butt his nose in to what I want to do with my work situation. He is basically making statements about what he thinks is best, without prefacing it with "I think that..." or anything. I pointed out to him that it felt like he was telling me what to do. And he said, "No, I'm just giving you advice." Um.... no.

if it impedes on MY space, and my life i will tell you to back off. lol

unless it's my husband, he is the only one that can help me and make me better.

for example, i suck at cooking and cleaning, but he has helped me alot with tips and stuff.

and even his mother too.

sure i can probably go online and watch youtube cooking tips but i get help from them.

my aunts and even my mother, and my husband's aunts used to go to college just for learning how to cook, learning how to sew beautifully and learning proper etiquette. Yes, they USED to have schools for women like that (most of the students were women)

sadly i heard that nowadays they did away with that so alot of young women dont have home cooking schools or learnign how to sew..

haha yes i'm an aqua sag dominant. sag is really high and significant in my chart. twice bigger than aqua.

it's also depends on who/what kind of person i'm talking to. if i think they can take it, i'll say it bluntly. otherwise not. i have great control of myself haha.
