dilemma and confusion

hello all..wished to ask a question for you cool people 🙂 M a leo female..I have an aqua guy friend..our bond was strengthened during last year..but previous some months had been tough for my friend as his father died suffering from a long disease..i didnt interfare in his private moments coz he was grieving and just reminded him time n again that i m for him through messages.. after that he has disappeared and never responds properly to any of my messages about his well being..but very often i see his FaceBook posts about how one becomes strongest when there is no one with him..to share their sadness with..
before the death of his father, my friend had become emotionally attached to me..thats why his mental status also affected me for a long time..even till now..
can the aquas part ways with someone so easily even after being emotionally vulnerable in front of them once? i wish to assume that may be he have other friends for his support and thus he doesnt need my friendship..but then, whenever i see those emotional posts about being alone, i start worrying again..i m a sentimental person and once bonding with someone is established, i cant help but feel empathetic for them.. i m scared to become clingy but at the same time want to reach out for my friend who i guess, is still suffering..
any insights?

You can only do so much, aquas are very resilient people. When we are "detached" we rationalize our thoughts, emotions & heal ourselves. He will be fine, aquas are best left alone to heal fast. Friend support is always welcomed but not necessary.

Just let him know you will be there for him, he will appreciate it even if he doesnt reply back.
