if i remember correctly, they had a conversation about him/her being sick/never got sick. then he made a joke "hey that's good, our babies will be blonde and healthy". she didn't take it very well as she thinks OPs planning things too fast.

To answer your question though I think you are on the right track. You mentioned you wanted to rekindle on her terms which a stubborn aquarius will need to do things on their own terms. The thing is though with your actions this constant texting, being there for her, sharing life updates that has GOTTA STOP. I'll explain why in a moment. So this "hot and cold" you are witnessing is an Aquarius who's mind has just caught up to the fact that holy sh! T I really freaking like this guy. These type of realizations may seem apparent to you because she's been so open and vocal about her feelings however Aquarians often weight friends and lovers the same. It may take this sign a while before they really begin to come to terms with the fact we feel way more towards you than just a friend. Although I would not doubt what she's said to you as Aquas are rather straight forward I think at some point in all this daily texting, dating and making out her feelings hit her hard. And with emotionally heavy things Aqua being an air sign is going to want to analyze logically first. So the jokes I don't really think offended her but more so she was in the process of analyzing her relationship with you and when an aquarius is thinking deeply on something especially when it comes to understanding our own emotions when can become vulnerable and easily offended. I think she was questioning whether or not she should be dating you and the jokes were an easy cop-out as to why she shouldn't be dating you. The fact she has not contacted you in a month though is concerning. Most times after an Aquarius has taken their time to think they will come back with a clear mind. She did not do that. Instead you text her first. I would think after a month most Aquas would have sorted out there feelings logically and be prepared to start dating should they have come to the conclusion they actually like you. The fact that she is texting you now means she probably still likes you or she's just being nice. There is also the possibility that during that month of silence she wanted to reach out to you and rekindle a romance however her pride got in the way. You would not think an aquarius as a prideful sign but sometimes we can be. At this point the reason you're texting and life updates must stop is because Aquarius is still in that think bubble. You reached out to her she responded that's great however the goal now is to teach Aquarius about herself but in a way that makes her think she figured it out on her own. You need to send one message text preferably is that will not be considered confrontational to the Aquarius. State exactly how you feel and be truthful. You want to State you want to be with her and you think she likes you as well and wants to be with you call her out on this hot and cold stuff and let her know that when she ever she's ready you will be there but until then you will not be reaching out to her anymore. Continue living your life if you have a social post lots of photos of you doing fun things and make it look like you've moved on. This action will force an aquarius to decide where they stand. It will also make her feel comfortable that you stayed at your feelings up front so she knows exactly where you stand which I'm sure she already knew but the extra reassurance can go a long way. As long as you keep texting her and trying to contact her she will grow further detached as she tries to figure out her own feelings. I guess emotions are what really "make" a person because you all detach so well that the moon personalities really shine through. 🙂
