How do you treat a friend or potential lover?

I've been seeing this Aqua man for 3 months. We had sex on the first night, I know I shouldn't have gave in but he was so charming. I've read that most women would experience a no communication for about a week or so, their Aqua would be distant/disappear on them, when after sex or after expressing feelings. I have never experience this with this Aqua guy. From the very first meeting we would text each other everyday, with mushy, flirty stuff. He said he liked me, want me and miss me. And when we are together, I would get cuddle, a lot of kisses, passionate sex, touching, and holding hands. He would see me every week unless he's deployed, the longest time that we would not text is 2days, but as soon as I initiate I would get a reply right away. I know most of you might call it a booty call or just fwb, we had an agreement that we would not see other people while seeing each other though we are not dating at all. He just told me he's not ready for a relationship being divorced just 4 months ago. But he still continue communicating with me and hasn't put me on a friend zone yet. I wanted to know from Aqua perspective, would you waste your time on someone everyday making an effort to talk if she is just a friend? Or would you do this because you have a secret feelings for that person?
