Humanitarianism

I just wanted to change the subject...Carlos and Majoity Speaker are fighting over on the Scorpio site...she says she is not Aquarius...I wondered...I don't like to fight. I will stand up for myself, but, a fight just for the sake of a fight? No, thank you!

My daughter is Aquarius also. She told me the other day that she gets most of her entertainment from herself...in her head! I smiled and said, "Of course you do!" I absolutely delight in her! I love being her Mom.

They say that God doesn't give us what we can't handle...
Do you think that is true? It certainly seems that we need to learn humanitarianism as a whole of society and embrace our love of country as a whole and not fight over silly annoyances...
Anybody with me on this?...I know I have been accused of living in my own world and seem to be very happy there! This is true! I am a happy, positive person who makes the best of any situation...but, I can extend out of my small existence when it is called for...

I agree with you! All of this fighting and these mind games are pointless, especially in times like these! That is why I posted "Can't we all just get along?"! I find myself, as do many these days, looking at my life in an entirely different way! I, like you, am a mom. I have 3 sons that range in age between 4-11 y.o. and they ,also, are the light in my life! I find myself being very aware of how I talk to them and what message's I am sending to them as I try and figure out for myself what is going on in the world today!
Star, I feel that God never gives us more than we can handle/ I think that sometimes we just don't realize what we can handle until we are confronted by it!

Yes, since 9/11/01, it has been difficult not to convey a sense of fear to our children...even though we stand up to be strong and fight for what we believe in...it is still a time of uncertainty...
