I have a Taurus friend who was dating an Aquarian man. They had been together for two years and he would break up with her for two weeks and they would get back together and be okay for months. Well the last time they got back together as a couple, he proposed to her. Two weeks later he dumped her again out of the blue.

Why would he propose to her and then take it back? I guess I just don't understand him at all.

1. He keeps breaking up with her b/c being in a relationship with her is clearly not what he wants. His actions prove that fact.

2. He has intimacy issues.

3. He keeps breaking up & getting back with her b/c she keeps allowing him to. He keeps leaving her high & high dry b/c he knows he can get away with it

4. He keeps finding himself wanting to break up with her all over again b/c whatever issues they were having in the 1st place, are issues neither of them are willing to squash or hash out before reuniting again.

5. Seems like he doesn't really want to be with her (for whatever reason) but then again, he doesn't want anyone else to have her either. That's why he keeps coming back; he always comes back around the time she's most likely to begin the healing/moving-on process.

He's not ready to commit & she isn't helping.

She needs to stop taking him back,he has too much control over the relationship.

It's not just about him & thats what needs to be said and if he doesn't understand that, then she doesn't need to be in a relationship with him.

Oh,and you will NEVER,EVER fully understand an Aqua man lol

I think the true question to be asked is why is SHE still staying around, not why does he keep breaking up with her!

His intimacy issues are clear, but she may not have so good of an excuse to keep going back/staying! Smh smh
