Thank you Star! I sold my house over the weekend! In process of my divorce, lost my job and I am celebrating my b-day by my self...I feel grrrrreat!!

I didn't mean to...like, lose the mood...
But, I know that change can be hard!
I know I am on a 'learning jouney'...but, sometimes, I get sick of learning! I just wanna hang loose and have fun!! LOL!

Then...something happens...and I know I must learn if I am to grow...I get older and wiser...and look younger!! What is up with that??!
The astrology stuff says it is my Capricorn rising that has to do with looking younger than my age...but, I am kinda frustrated with it!!
I have a couple of guys who recently met me that are in their 20's...they keep asking me out!! I have even told them my age...and yet, they persist!
It is too weird!
I know I will not give in...but, why would they think this would be a good idea?? (Regardless of what I look like...)
Ahhh...they saw the movie, "American Pie"...

AMC shows some of the classics...my favorites are Laurel and Hardy...my daughter gets a kick out of Abbott and Costello!

My daughter gets a real laugh out of the old shows that I used to watch when I was a kid. The one she really gets a kick out of is The Munsters'.

I really like I love Lucy, I could watch that all day long, just goofy fun stuff. I also like most of the black and white comedy shows. They are a good way to escape reality!

I enjoy the old comedies as well as new...
Cary Grant was one of my favorites in the old movies...

Damn! I felt like a complete idiot the other night! This is not the funniest story...
There was a going away party for some of the nurses on my unit...(they leave almost as soon as they come...we are a hard unit!)I went to the party...I ordered a frozen margarita...it was wonderful! I stay awhile and then leave...because I had a date...
It wasn't until I got home later that night that I realized that I never paid for my frozen margarita!! I am not like this! I almost panicked! I almost called the bar to tell them I owed them!! Then, I realized that, more than likely...someone in my group had to pay...sooo, I am questioning all...so far, I have not found the one who got stuck...but, my quest continues....

one day i deliberately went thru the mcdonalds drive thru the wrong way just for a joke and the girl says...''you drove in the wrong way'' and i said...''ya, i know''...''i just wanted to see if anyone else would'' and sure enough......2 cars pulled in behind me !! it was funny at the time !!!

that was funny willie. My sister got me some scented candles for my birthday and I got them home and one of them smelled like cat piss burning! ha ah haaaaaaaaaa

Cat piss burning! That is funny! It is also funny going through a drive through the wrong way!

I did have just one drink, CB! And, so far, no one was even questioned! So, of course, now...the rest of the girls I work with are thinking of going to that bar and grill...ordering one drink and leaving without paying!! Like that was my intention!!

We are a crazy busy unit...we are good, because we have to be! The only nurses who stay on my unit are crazy ones! But, because of that we really get respect from the Doc's...there was a resident recently that I just loved! She was so funny! I will miss her! She told me one night that she would be starting her mental health therapy now that she was done with my unit...but, she was kidding...but, it is crazy...we see the poor residents at 11 pm and then again at 5 am and it isn't even their call night! Crazy, unrealistic!

OK! I rambled! Just off work...it is most on my mind!!
