Lying

We all do it for some reason or another. Testing boundaries, getting out of situations, just to sound interesting...

How do Aquarius feel about lying? Do you do it often, and for what reasons would you lie?

How do you feel if you are lied to?

The other part of the question is, what would be a reason for an Aqua to lie? Would they?

And by betrayed, what do you mean?

Another question is (As I'm always so ready to question) is there a difference to Aquarius between Lying and withholding information.

I feel like withholding information is just as betraying as lying itself.

So you are saying that lying was just a means to keep interesting, and fit the social norms? It wasn't more about getting out of trouble or lying about feelings?

The Aqua guy I was with, lied/deceived me a lot looking back! But I was far more forgiving back then. When I spoke to him on the phone sometimes even for just a few minutes he would "oh no" or "oh Fuck" and then the phone would die... As if something had happened and he had to run off somewhere but basically he would just hang up on me for no reason.. totally unjustified.. the last time he did it.. i flipped and went over to his house and gave him a piece of my mind and that was the end but not before the next night bumping into him on a night out and he told me he was sorry and he would phone me next time and we could try again... he never phoned. Also once he went away and he was to be away for about 3 days about 3 hours away and i decided i needed time away to see my mum... so i called him and said i was going to my mums in another town.. i got home from work and he turned up with his friend and he said *oh i thought you left* Its a long story and in no way was i bugging him at all.. but he sure acted like it and lied all the time! Me... i freakin hate lies and I also find it really hard to lie, i feel too bad and I just dont like it full stop!

Ccaqua thanks for your comments. I wonder about this too, because sometimes I get a feeling that too many excuses could mean it's a lie. My Aqua always seems to have excuses, although if I ask, he has a sound explanation-- maybe he's just spontaneous and things happen...

In regards to the way your Aqua would end phone calls, my question is, was he the one to call you? Or would he end the conversation if you called?

When I lie I make it obvious that I'm lying as a joke......If I do lie its for the greater good or to save peoples feelings

Thanks The_eleventh_sign_11, for your thoughts. I have expierenced Aquas lying, as a joke. It's when you ask them the same question too many times, not believing their first answer.

But unfortunately, to the needy and clingy, that is just hell and torture. LOL.

Sorry, they "can be" quite vengeful.

Doesn't mean that ALL are.

It is like this. When I don't like someone for all their lies, I lie. To others, even if they aren't close, I don't lie or at least no serious lies apart for fun.

I don't think I do it for revenge though. I don't have to be.
