Mr man feeling sick...

Mr man is sick (sinus infection). Not normal, he's typically pretty healthy. He's quite & a tad cold. I understand...can't blame him, he's sick.

So question...how are you when you are sick? What makes you feel cared for? I know I can't "fix it" but just want to do something for him...just not sure what.

My guy likes to be left alone when he's sick. He appreciates me checking up on him, but he doesn't want company.

Well, when i am sick, i would like to have company, almost. I do not want to hear your stories as i cannot get them into my mind and i hate that. If you are with me, i would like you to be silent, and do no take me wrong here when i say, some physical comfort could be appreciated. So, not much talking, care yes, in a way that he likes, which you'll have to find out. An aqua knows his body, he knows what he can and will eat, so don't force him. Just be with him, that should be fine. Don't bother the sinus. But in the first place he is very mad with himself that he is sick, coz we never get sick, keep that in mind too.

Thank you both. I followed his suttle ways of saying what he needed. Since we work in the same building I made lunches very relaxed for him and let him be in the evenings. He seem to really enjoy one day. I brought a blanet & lunch. Let him lay under a tree and just chill while I read my book after we ate. No talking just chilling. I think I've done pretty good. He's been in a pretty good mood since for being sick. Gave him a long back rub today & I kept pretty quite. Hopefully he'll feel much better after the weekend.
