Ok... another aqua guy situation- help me!!!

I know most of you must be sick of the topic "how to understand aqua guys", but I would really like some insights here!! There is a guy I'm very much interested in, and usually I'm quick to understand what the person feels about me, but this guy... my intuition keeps telling me that he does like me, but when I actually think about it, there is nothing that shows that he likes me. Should I go with my heart or brain?

Positive facts:
He called me several times to hang out with him at his convenient time (meaning, right at that moment when he is free or perhaps bored), but I couldn't because my schedule doesn't work at all with spontaneity.
He wants me to participate in the same project that he is involved in.
He is always responsive to my emails, sms, and phone calls.
He thinks I'm funny. (although I don't know why)
He told me he has a respect for me.

Negative facts:
He is cool and casual around me- I feel like I'm a guy around him. He really treats me as if I'm a guy.
He never flirts.
He mentioned couple times about this particular girl I know whom (I figured later) he used to like a lot. (wtf?)
I don't flirt with him at all but when I finally did in a very subtle way, he "reminded" me that I'm his friend.

.... so what do yall think?

I don't think the feelings mutual...had you flirted and he'd reciprocated with a silly smile maybe, but he put himself on the line by reminding you that you're just friends.

Aqua's are shy but they're persistant and if they want something they'll make it known.

The positive facts you mentioned are typical of any Aqua friendship...
