Good idea, but I think everyone should continue to be proud of their country's unique flag as well.

But I like your idea, I just think it shouldn't be "instead", but "as well as"...if that makes sense.

Sorry but this is a very DIVERSE nation! How about just trying ONE on for size? And that would be a flag, religion, god, etc. etc., called "HUMANITY"!? I for one would like to see a world united as a HUMAN RACE and a belief in it as well! No one stands alone and most definitely not just a (1)belief or religion nor flag for that matter. OPEN your eyes. There's enough prejudice in this world as it is.

Why? for the same reason it has never worked before! We are all individuals and we can still live with one another but we are not all the same.
That is the beauty! It is a tapestry of all different colors why do you want to change it?
