Something is bothering me but I'll tell you later

Firstly happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends.

i'm away for the Thanksgiving break. Last night aqua and I were texting and I asked him how he was doing. I asked is everything OK? He told me "not really but I'll be fine. I just need some time and some rest." He said that he'll talk to me about it on Saturday when I return from my trip.

I told him that I will be here whenever he needs to talk. he said as much as he loves talking to me, he just couldn't do it last night.

But why would he tell me that something is bothering him, and then not tell me what it is? This is really tough on me. I am worried now.

Aqua pros, what do you think ?

Perhaps it's a conversation better done in person?

Why mention at all then?

I don't believe he's breaking up with me or anything. I think it's more of a personal issue.

I wonder if he told me, because he wanted me to push harder to find out.

Or dropped that bomb and hoping that I really forget about it until the next time we talk.

Or wanting me to be worried my whole trip.

I don't know.

I've done something similar when I've felt comfortable enough with someone to be honest about how I'm doing, but I just didn't have the mental or emotional energy or the time to explain the issue to them. In general I avoid emotional discussions because they're very draining to me. Add that on top of work, school, family, and friends, and it's exhausting.

What's his moon sign? I have a Sag moon, and usually I close myself off for a while to think through my problems and/or be in my feels before I discuss it with anyone else. A more emotionally self-sufficient moon sign doesn't want to burden others with their emotions (especially Sag moon). That doesn't mean they won't tell or show you that something is wrong; they just won't want to talk about it until the rawness of it has subsided or the problem has been resolved or at least put in perspective. Sometimes we end up not even needing/wanting to talk about it, and either you'll never know what happened or we'll mention it off-hand later.

Of course I realize after writing all of this that I'm about a month late! (Don't know why that didn't register when you said "Happy Thanksgiving".) Hopefully this still helps you or others 🙂
