My S/O is an Aqua male, and I am a Cancer female. We've found love in each other. My family loves him to bits. His family feels the same about me. Well, all of them except for his biological mother. She is not fond of me. Not in the least bit.

Now Aqua man, and his mother have always had a rocky relationship. She abandoned him when he was six, and appeared back into his life just seven years. According to him she has since been trying to control everything.

They have since been trying to build their relationship to be better than it was.

I feel like I am the cherry on top. I have never met her, NEVER spoken to her. She has never seen me, and I have never seen her.

She suggests to my Aqua that his ex girlfriend was the best woman for him, and he will never find anybody like his ex.

I must be nuts because I asked him not to long ago if I could meet her even knowing all of this. He sure,but he doesn't see the point in it.

According to my S/O, his sister, and just about everybody else in the family...she isn't very cordial, she is said to be truly ignorant.

Now to really put another cherry on top I am pregnant while everybody is excited, and happy -- his, and my family..

According to my s/o frankly she thinks I'm the devil, trying to keep her dear son trapped.. I guess I should put the idea of wanting to meet her to rest.

Since then my Aqua barely talks to his mother because she isn't accepting to her grandchild. I feel very in the middle, still wanting them to mend things.

Thats his mother I WANT them to mend things. I wish there was something I could do...

I must be crazy for thinking "once the stars align." But the hope in me is depleting.

stay out of it. What he does with his mum is really his own business. What you want is entirely different.

that's not love. Anything that is out of control, is not love. She never knew how to love when she abandoned him. And again, she's doing it again, through another way, by CONTROLLING him. that's some nerve.
