What's more challenging?

What do you think, Aquarius, is more challenging for you? Being in a relationship with you complete opposite sign (Leo), or being in a relationship with a sign that is just like you (but not necessarily your sign...maybe another air sign)?

I already posted this up on the other board, but personally for me being an Aquarius, I can be in a relationship with another air sign or someone who is just like me, but you know what I'm saying--there's no real chemistry. We're better off as just good friends. Another air sign like a libra or a gemini would genuinely intrigue me, but they'd just talk my head off to death, lol, we air signs love communication but we seek more than that. With Aquarius we seek stimulation as well, and sometimes meaning that does call for conversation or intellectual stimulation of the mind. But my moon is in Leo, and I have a lot of fire and my chart. So I basically seek the physical aspect of a relationship as well. Not meaning that I don't want someone who knows the value of having a good talk, and a good head on their shoulders. But I love 'em as just friends and that's it.

As for my oppostie sign, the Leo, never dated one. Although I was with this guy I could have sworn was a Leo, but my relationships with Leos are pretty bad ones. My older brother and sister are Leos and we get along pretty well. But anyone else who ain't related has to be prepared for something else. We don't necessarily clash, but being an Aquarian, and well my moon and ascendant are both in Leo, he/she would be completely getting on my nerves all the time trying to hog the spotlight. I'm not so much as a spotlight seeker myself, but if someone doesn't at least look my way, lol, I know that problems will start. And Leos will try to fish for compliments and I'm not the type of person to stoop down on my arse to make somebody's little life feel good by making them feel like they are the world when in reality they wouldn't even be worth half my world. (Ooh, I know that sounded harsh)

But to come to your conclusion, I think that both are challenging. Not so much as it would be for another air sign though. Aquarians need someone who understands them though. I'm not speaking on behalf of everyone else, but whoever can possess the qualities of being very down to earth, a smart intellectual, someone who isn't smothering, but very passionate and charming all in the same, it might make for the least challenging relationship to melt our Aquarian hearts.

lol, that last sentence I made, i think i might as well have describe another air sign. 🙂 oh well...

I think its just challenging enough to decide, lol , I have dated a leo,,I married one,,ugh,,hate/love relationship. no communication. I married again a capi the best relationship for me, but he left as well,,we are still good friends, I am going to see him july 1st. we are still married but seperated. He is having probelms finding his place right now, personally I feel he needs to grow up on that area. but I cant judge I am probably immature in areas as well. So anyways..I liek to say I love to have both worlds,,lol do we have to pick just one? 🙂

none....i do have best friendz who r leos but i can never be in a relationship wid a leo they are 2 bossy..... and air signs never attract me.. libras and geminis put me off wid there infinite talk.... only aquarius is a sign that i get along well with.. i had an aquarian BF....

but i get along well wid aries, scorp, pisces, caps...

Crimson Tide, every time I read something by you, it seems as though we are 2 peas in the pod. I have never dated an Aquarian, but I have dated both Libra and Gemini. Great sex with Gemini, but he was too scattered, the Libra and I did a lot of things together, but not much chemistry. Married to Leo who was totally my opposite, I could not take being subservant too much longer. My best relationship most of the time was with an Aries, both we fought over me being stubborn and he being King of the Castle.

I forgot to say that my Moon is in Aries.

I dated a Leo and couldn't stand him. I was always joking around with him he thought I was being mean. I blew him off, couldn't handle not being myself. Was with a Sag for many years. We were great in social situations but argued constantly at home. I seem to get along well with Aries men, we have a lot in common and our personalities are close to the same. Best friend is a Gemini.

It's funny to read everyones posts! I was married to an Aries. Couldn't stand him being up my rear all the time. He had no passion. But was a mind controller. Lived with a Libra and we fought horrible all the time. Lots of passion, but he was totally jealous of me and I couldn't stand it. Am now married to a Taurus. We are good friends, passion is good, but getting old for me. Not really "old" or "bad" it's just that it's not totally what I need from a relationship and that's what he thinks relationships are ALL about. He's a very decent man, can be loving, but definitely not romantic. An intellectual, not really. Have been with an Aquarian man that we are now very good friends. He is very attune to me and what will happen next with me. It's very strange. In fact, he called me at work the other day and we were talking about the same things that were happening in our day! He said, man, it's just strange how we connect with each other!

And it seems that the Aquarian women on this board sound so much like me! I've often wondered how and why I've been with so many men?? I thought, man, I'm such a flirt (slut, maybe??)! But now I see that I can't help it!!!! It's just in my nature!! (I don't mean that in a bad way, hope I don't hurt anyone's feelings)

I seem to do that with my Taurus man all the time, it's freaky.

Seems we end up saying the same thing, thinking the same things, and many times thinking about each other at the same time. lastnight I feel asleep before I was to meet him online. I got up to go to the bathroom [I DONT' NORMALLY DO THAT] at 2AM. at 2AM he sent me an email telling me he can't sleep do to worrying about me. [I got that email at 7AM] so many things connect like that, it's strange.

so to answer your question. I think that it's really easy to deal with the Taurus ... almost the same as dealing with another Aquarius .. of which I had a relationship with. very challenging to deal with a Picses, there is no connection, no nothing thats the same..

Hey Ms. Mindy....... me aquarius too and often I think like that......so many men, slut slut slut.........but I just think we are the archetypal aquarians which means that every guy you meet you are intrigued with for that moment in time! and every guy i've been with is "special" in a certain way....I can name a good characteristic for every guy I have been with....(bad too!!! but that's another story:-) - but most of all I ususally trust and see the best in people and believe them....possibly I think aquarians are too naive in the love-stakes, yes, they are players and keep their options open (so open!!! - like the geminis:-) - and I know from experince that I can love two guys at the same time, even three!!!! in different ways......no-one really understands this concept except maybe another aquarian....it's like the heart is divided into different chambers....one guy for one chamber, aanother guy for the next but the the chambers stay tightly locked from the outside world and the other guys and this I can do without feeling guilt or strange (and then I read in the agony colums - my guy loves me and is cheating (this me me...but I don't feel I am cheating - .......I know I am not making much sense but that's the way I feel.......

Anyway, Missy......gonna go and tell a certain Mr. Virgo I want to be with him tonite:-) - he probably is my No. 1 guy.......but the two and threes still count:-)

You are making PERFECT sense to me!! It sounds so bad sometimes, but I always feel like I need to keep my options open!!! And that doesn't just count for men either! That counts for jobs, parties, etc!

Yes, I must say every single one of them, bless their hearts, have a special place in my heart! In fact, if I see them today, it's like it was yesterday and we're still good friends! Or maybe not good friends, but can at least talk. Even the Libra, as much as he was an a** most of the time, we were able to sit down and talk for a few minutes.

And, yes, I fall for the corniest lines!! I'm very naive when it comes to trusting people. I always feel that people are good before they are bad and they don't really mean to hurt me. I tell people that my roots are blond (I have brown hair!)!! ****JUST KIDDING****

And I also believe that you can love 2 or 3 men at one time. I love my husband dearly. We've been together for 15 years. But I am also falling in love with the Aquarian. who understands me so well.

Hmmm i think dat aquarians like the idea of love , and boy they love dat sex,oweeee, but to stay comitted is another issue with some aquarians i know,THEY make the best of friends and lovers. They will help u when u down and out. And when they down they would need support to uplift them.

WOW you poeple are me!!! 🙂 lol I also date lots of men and most turn into friends. What bugs me though is when you end up with a new guy and talk about your other guy friends, they "new" one gets jealous. They dont realize that you've already cut all emotional ties. Then as much as I try to explain it to them they just dont get it.

I also see the good in people and its very hard to see the bad. However, wouldnt you all agree once someone has hurt you... you come out with claws drawn? I know I do.

Alana, I find that eventho, according to others, that I'm naive when it comes to men's trustworthiness, as I've gotten older the less I question, investigate or bitch, the more information about men just comes forth to me. Also, sometimes I don't really care because if my intention is to only enjoy this person for whatever it doesn't matter to me if they feel the need to lie to me. When I've had enough I'm gone. I always leave or am left without hostility. We remain friendly or best friends for that matter (scorpio). Except for my Leo ex-husband, if we hadn't had a child together he would have been on my s*** list for the rest of his life.

Well I personally get a bit turned off by men who are fellow aquarians as I see too many similarities and instead of making me more at ease, it makes me more uncomfortable that they are observing their own foibles in me. Also though, I think I tend to go for a more grounded earthy, emotional, passionate and consistent man (in my idealistic dreams that is to say, not necessarily in reality!). I reckon aquarian men are too in their heads for me. I am not really sure about the complimentary opposite of each sign. Does it mean we should get on the best or the least? I don't think I've ever fancied a Leo but I would certainly like to try if one catches my eye!

Oh! I had the most beautiful Leo once! He had sandy blond hair and the blueist eyes I'd ever seen!! I was only 23 or so, but he reminded me so much of a Lion!! OH MY!! ;-D

In general, I think men as they grow older are about the same as us when we get older! I also feel that people are people and I'm in their company for their personalities now and not their looks. If that was the case as you get older, geesh, you'd be pretty much by yourself!! Coz, honey, as much as I try to tell myself, I ain't gettin' no younger!!

And ain't that the truth— I know that if I have a bad day, my claws are going to come out. And usually, when someone else is having a bad day, so will theirs. But if they are continually coming out, we learn to watch their behavior and those are the people I try to stay away from!!

I have never really cared for Aquarian men either. My brother is an Aquarian and a perfect A $ $ . But lately I have been surrounded by Aquarians, male and female. 2 Co-workers, one male, one female, we get along great! Her husband is an Aquarian, nice guy! Then my male "friend" and another girl that is seeing someone in our "group" is Aquarian. And I really do feel more relaxed with them, I think, because I can really be myself and they understand!!! Does that make sense?
