What Makes a Good Girlfriend Aquarius?

Hey there!

I have only been in two relationships in my life both 8 months, so sometimes I feel like I don't know how to be a "girlfriend". (IN YOUR PERSONAL OPINION) What characteritics make up a good girlfriend?

For me, an Aquarian male, this is what I would want in an ideal girlfriend:

1. Space and freedom. I don?t like taking orders or bullied around. So, no decided for me.
2. Intellectual Stimulation. I like a deep thinking women, someone who can keep up with my deep thoughts and theories. Someone who is willing to go beyond the surface of things.
3. Someone who isn?t clingy and isn?t around me 24/7. I have my own life and I like doing things by myself. It?s my nature. Let me do my own thing.
4. Don?t try to change my uniqueness. I like being different and trying different things.
5. Be understanding of my unsteady work habits. I am constantly searching for something. I will bounce from job to job and have money problems.
6. Don?t be jealous. I have many different friends. I like helping people and it?s not that I don?t like you, but that I have many diverse things to do and friends to help, interests, etc.
7. No nagging. I hate someone who tells me what to do over and over again. I will do things in due time. You only need to tell me once. I get the point.
8. Don?t use the past against me. Forgive and forget. I mess up as much as the next person, but if you contently bring up the past, how can there be a future?
9. Always tell me the truth to my face. No suspicion, bottled up feelings, or disappearing acts. Closed of people drive me crazy and especially in a significant other.

I've seen this question on other boards and I think that what makes a good girlfriend is the same thing that makes a good boyfriend. Actually, it just makes a good friend, and person. Honesty and communication. We all have different desires and beliefs, but if the line of communication is open to discuss these things and we are true in what we say - then, that's all it takes - love will do the rest.

But what turns on an Aquarius probably won't do the same for a Cancer, which is why I posted the same question on all the boards. I wanted to compare the different responses to the same question. What can I say, I love people research! I should work for the Gallup Poll...

I guess I should have clarified myself, because 86fever was about the only one who "got" what I was looking for, and gave the exact type of answer I was looking for. Not to say that all of the others aren't helpful, wanted & appreciated, his was just the perfect example of what I was looking for.

Keep whatever opinions you have coming though, it's good stuff and it also outlines the way different people process & interpret the same question. I love it!

Two, I think that our outlooks on life are so different that it COULD be the hardest couple to put together. Honestly, it has never gone past the "sexual partners" stage for me with Aqua's (even then he was getting on my nerves with the back & forth sh!t)
so I can't tell you. I did read on another post that it works better when both signs are older...which I could agree on. Air in water gives off GAS and the air always escapes anyway, so....

Anybody else got any suggestions?

it is even more surprising to here that aqua and canci will settle when old.becoz as u said the only fun part between the signs is sex.and even in my case i saw it.
anyway i'm on my search for canci-aqua pairs to learn more
