I'm def with you! So many people convince themselves that it's OK to "settle" & they justify settling by using infamous lines like, "Well everybody has flaws & it's not real love unless you accept someone for all of who they are." HA! Yeah bullshxt! I'm all for acknowledging who someone is, good & bad, BUT actually making the choice to ACCEPT & be able to handle who they are is a completely different story.

Every year I make a New Year's resolution to get rid of all the people who:
~Lie & cheat & yet never learn from their mistakes the 1st time
~Can't take constructive criticism..ya know, the kinds of people who are a little TOO stuck in their ways to change even if it's necessary
~Thrive off of drama. Sad thing is, most of the "drama queens" never really admit OR think they're drama queens.
~Always complain! Ugh, there is nothing worse than someone who always finds something negative out of a positive situation. It's ok to be cautious & to be non-trusting SOMETIMES, but some people are just not satisfied & I call these types of people "buzz kills."

I make a vow every year to do what I call a little "Spring cleaning!" I get rid of all the toxic waste/trash. After all, if you keep around enough trash in your life, even YOU will eventually start to stink!

my aqua friend thinks im ugly. thats not contructive in anyway...i cant change that lol. it hurts but i let it go cause thats her honest opinion. it hurts because shes like my best friend/little stier thing. i spent alot of money on her for no reason beyong the fact i love her and wanna take care of her cause no one else can...her bf doenst have any income lol. i know its not my job or place to be getting her stuff but i like making her happy. but her calling me ugly or even thinking it makes me hurt alot...and she knows this. i mean im a good friend to her. no a great friend...this girl has never asked me to do anything for her but i do. im always trying to be seperate from her other male friends. i mean come on...no other male friend would be as generous as i am. i mean 2g is a lot to spend on one person. yeah i may be stupid to do that but idc. i even questioned her loyalty because other friends think she is usuing me...i caught hell for that. some of you aqua ladies help me here...i know im sensitive and too nice but come on...shouldnt i be treated better for what i do? or is there no such thing as sepreate treatment when it comes to friends?

sorry for complaining...sometimes i just wish i knew what she is thinking. known her for 2 yrs...has to mean something.
im trying hard not to seem selfish or like i expect my ego to be rubbed or whatever. i can be very selfish. god if it was some cancer she would be all over me right now....lol

Babe, there's two ways of looking at this: Ask yourself if you are helping her really. What i mean is are you "rescuing"...or helping? She has to stand on her own two feet. If you're happy to help then by all means, do it, but I sense it's not making your satisfied because you're getting little in return.

The other thing is to go for the respect way. By that i mean stop helping her and get tougher. It gets you respect. She may disappear, but i doubt it.

Yes, you are too nice. Don't fall prey to helping her to keep her friendship because it's not a friendship if you are buying it - it's a hope and a dream and it's not real. That sounds very blunt but i don't know how else to word it, sorry.

How about you drop off the face of the earth for a while and see if she comes to find you? It's probably the last thing you want to do but in some strange way it actually has a good and positive effect - it gives you a b

Good stuff!!

It's kind of crept up on me I think, over a few months. A little bit here, a little bit there and then I shove them all off and tell them to deal with their own shit and then it creeps back up again. I'm done with it, I'd rather have fewer people in my life than a whole bunch of hanger-on that just piss me off.

good advice from a cool aqua chick. ima accept it and do just that. i already know she values my friendship. just me...i like to have a certain place in a friends heart. usually number one. lol. but its fine...ill hold back on my helping her and buying her gifts or whatever. its not like im her father...which shes mention i should be lol. i act like one... we get along great otherwise. rarely get a text but its random when i do lol. i shall set back and relax and not worry if im not imortant or whatever. i wanna earn her trust and respect....those are important. thanks for the advice dear.
