Aries are Control Freaks

I had a relationship with an Aries once (I'm a gemini). He was to all appearances a very romantic sweet man. It turned out he was the biggest control freak ever. And a hypocrite of cosmic magnitude. All he cared about was his image and what other thought about him. He spewed out the words 'I love you' every five minutes but he didn't have a clue what love was. Outwardly confident..but in reality the biggest emotinal coward I ever met. He wanted the perfect person (just like himself) and didn't want to work on himself and the relationship...because he was too perfect (in his own words) and didn't have a single fault. Blimey, you Aries really are the biggest arseholes ever.

In almost any relationship that ends poorly- I think it's only natural to blame the other person and then categorize the bad experience with a overly simplified label (such as attributing the bad relationship to him being an "aries").

Have you thought about where you went wrong? What red flags in the beginning of the relationship did you miss? In the beginning, were you so anxious to fall in love and be with this person, that you overlooked some obvious signs that he isn't the one?

Before dismissing all aries as being a**holes because of this one guy you dated. Answer those questions. Then heal, learn, grow-- and move on.
