^You said this, which would imply he searched your name on google, if you use your name as your username. If someone out of the blue would add me on facebook and pretend they know me, I would be googling their name also.

You're reading this as interest, which I don't think it's the case, especially since he no longer contacted you.

Also, are you sure he's gay? He could be straight and wondering what's up with this random dude that gets in contact with him.

I read everything. Did you chat on that trip? How did you know his name?

I had the same experience once, dude had me confused for some chick he knew. Not to say it wasn't interest in your case but something to ponder.

Thing is, if he never gave you his name and you probably saw it in the passport line (?), it would've seemed pretty weird for him to have someone message him on facebook out of the blue.

Well you do appear desperate but hell that's a part of life.
