Aries Man I need advice

I have been seeing an aries guy for about a month, however, right after we first met he went on business trip for almost 2 weeks. When he returned we saw each other once and have stayed in touch daily, via texts and occasional calls. His birthday was last Thursday and he woke up that day with the flu, since then he has been very distant, I only hear from him if I reach out first. Its very odd since he was initiating contact the days prior to him getting sick. I reached out this morning (after not hearing from him in 2 days) to see how he was to which he replied better, but still congested and coughing a little. I suggested Musinex which is funny because he is a doctor so I'm sure he knows whats best. But in my defense I am the mothering type always trying to help those I care about. (I'm a Scorpio) Anyway, I have a silly gift for him (he sold his motorcycle and was sad, when I ask what would make him smile he said the type of new motorcycle he wanted to which I purchased a toy replica of exactly what he asked for) I've been holding on to it for over a week now and I'm not sure if I should just mail it to him since he doesn't appear to be too interested any longer so I have no idea if or when I might see him again or should I ask him if I can drop it off?

Please help, I'm honestly confused as to why he now seems so distant and I definitely don't want to make things any worse.

There could be any number of reasons why he didn’t text, the gift is sweet, and it was for his birthday? so doesn’t look like you’re trying too hard, but you have to remember Aries like challenge, and if you make it too easy for him then he might not be interested, you need to get him to work for your attention. Don’t give it out freely if he hasn’t initiated. It doesn’t matter if he is sick, it doesn’t take long to send a message. If it happens again, be honest, be direct, indicate you don’t like not hearing from him. To do this simply message him and ask him why he hasn’t messaged you. You are the lady, he is the guy, Aries like that kind of relationship. Make it clear it’s his job to message you first each day. So next time just message him and ask why he hasn’t text you. Don’t try and be sweet about it, don’t forgive him, and don’t act like it’s ok because he’s sick. Aries prefer demanding women, he has to work for you.
