Aries man / Leo girl. Mixed signals from him.

I started talking online to this Aries male. (we cannot meet at the moment, I wish, but it's not possible. that would be a good solution).
I am a Leo (August 10, 1982) and he's an Aries (March 24, 1981).
From the first moment on we had very good conversations. We agree a lot, share the same views. I don't mind either that he's very sexual.

But sometimes he drives me crazy: hot, cold, hot, cold etc. Should I be more patient? No emotions. I only know that he enjoys talking to me and that I am cool (I know I shouldn't put too much into that) and tries sending me at least an e-mail if he's too busy to chat. He says often, when he leaves that he will return and I can often count on that. And that I shouldn't leave because he wants to talk to me.
A couple of days ago we talked again a lot and I told to him, if I am not open enough for him, fine. Because he wants a very open woman.
He told me, I am open enough for him, clear enough and very much.

I can also ask him anything and I can count on his words. If he says e.g. he will send me pictures when he says he's going to. Should I count on, if he really likes me, he will say it like he told me or would that rather be the typical Aries thing of not showing emotions?
He cares about me, listens and tells me over and over again that I can tell and ask him anything.

Either he's just polite or he's really somewhat attracted to me by telling me, I am pretty.

We are both very stubborn and had already a couple of heated discussions. I already expected him to leave after that, but he's still around.
Sometimes he uses "we", then again "I want a girl to be like...".

I also told him already that I like him. Now I read that can scare an Aries male away, but I didn't know that. We kept talking after having a few minutes of silence.
He was laughing when I told him, it was not easy for me to say that (because I cannot read this mind and therefore his reaction to this): "k" "cuz you like me lol" "thaats easy". He admitted he said "k" because he was tired. (3:25am was a bad idea for this lol)

I am not used to a guy like that! There are moments when I just want to give up. I am not very patient and go crazy soon. And if I hear once more "I am an open book" I forget myself. This doesn't feel like an open book.

hmmm, you're having a relationship online - Aries is a personal sign, so is Leo in fact - they are both independent but still a one-on-one sign...time for face-to-face in my opinion...

Aries is not really an open-book if that's what you're asking - no one is no matter the sign.

Aries is not good at showing intimate emotions, they will rather act it out - if it's I'm hungry, or I'm angry --- then fine they will express that...that's where they're different from Leo.

It's not even a relationship. More of a flirt. I am not too fond of online relationships. I have to see where it leads and then decide.
Yeah, I also figured that he is in no way an open book. No matter what he tells me.

^^^ please don't get into trying to figure people out, it'll drive you insane - Aries is inconsistent and very changeable but loyal - so try not to take it all too seriously.

Online, we're different characters...the way I express myself on this forum's different from the way I talk on the phone and the way I express in real life too...
