Understanding Aries Men When They Are Distant

Aries men may become distant when feeling overwhelmed or needing space. They value honesty but also require independence, which can cause temporary emotional withdrawal. Open communication and patience are key to understanding their behavior and rebuilding connection.

My Aries guy has been really distant for a week...
We've always been honest with each other but i have the feeling that something is wrong and he doesn't want to talk about it. His favourite line for changing the subject is to bring up the weather report into the conversation.
So do you think I should be worried or just carry on as usual?
I love him (no I have not told him so yet) and I don't want to be unreasonable but this is starting to get on my nerves. We have dated for a couple of months but were good friends before that- but is like he's been a totally diferent person for a week....

I'm confused and well... a Capricorn likes to know what's going on. 🙂

Hi confusedcapi

Ah...the Aries specimen - what is one gonna do with us?

Sometimes it can take awhile for someone to find the right words to express himself and during that time, one may need to step back. There is nothing wrong with some time apart...infact, I think it is a good thing.

You say in your post that you have a "feeling" that something is wrong - have you shared this feeling with him? usually when you ask a man if something is on his mind - he will tell you. If you did ask him and he begins to talk of the weather then again say to him - "I was not asking about the weather, maybe you did not hear my question?" have him repeat the question if need be. Sounds like some avoidence is goin' on here.

Aries are pretty much upfront and honest when we are asked a question - again, I am speaking for myself.

Good luck Lady Capi!

Wow this is very odd. The same situation is happening to me, at this very moment ConfusedCapi, and boy does it suck. I keep asking him "what's wrong", and he just says "nothing". I'm so missing that guy though 😢

One question: Is he working? If he's working really hard, he's just focused on that and will come back to you. If he's just gone silent, you may have said something he's thinking about OR you pushed him too much---he's done with you. Need more details to know for sure. If he's HURT he'll go silent for sure.

Well, yesterday, a bit after I posted here, he started talking about his worries at work...
It's a relief to have him start to open up so I didn't really told him about how how I felt during the week... though he knows I noticed a change by now...
Have to wait a little to see if everything returns to normal (his work problem is not solved yet) - he's always there for me and I would like to be there for him also...

I don't think I could ever play the part of a story book princess unless it was one that was fighting dragons along with her knight.
I guess that's why he likes me 🙂

Though I sometimes wonder he's testing how much I care for him...

arch, rox, UNFORTUNATELY you are right about most Aries (!)---my dad, some friends. SO egotistical and self-centered. HATE it.

BUT there are some of us that are not so much.
