Why fear and try to repress the warrior when you can employ him and pay for his services? Personally, whether you think our current wars are honorable, I think our fighters should be payed more than they are. Cops make more money than soldiers, marines, and other combat arms guys at a potentially less risky job that they can quit at any time.

Personally, I'm fascinated with guns and other weapons myself because of the protection and freedom they afford me.
