Figuring out this Aries guy

Hello, So I am trying to figure out this Aries guy that I met at a music festival last month. We were talking casually for about 2 months, then we met in person at a music festival and we spent all weekend together. Afterwards, we have been talking every day via text and even made plans this summer to hangout and go camping. I will be seeing him again soon, however, I do notice that sometimes he tends to pull away. So we would talk pretty much all day some days and there would be a day where we won't talk and then the next day he will contact me.

Now I don't get mad over not having constant communication as I understand that we have different lives. But I am starting to get interested in him, but I am unsure if he is interested? I have to mention too that we both live in California, I live in Northern California and he lives in Southern California. What would some signs be that he may be interested?

There will be a childlike quality to the way they approach love. It's more open and expressed with a very positive outlook. And they chase. I see. He hasn't told me anything, but sometimes we will have multiple different conversations on different social media platforms. But most of our conversations occur through snapchat. He sends me videos, and has even told me that if I move to SoCal that we'd hangout all the time. That was said because I was debating to move back to Southern California to be closer to family, since I've been away for the past 6-7 years.

I do notice that he seems to be more on the passive side, which I would assume would be because of his Venus in Pisces. I also read that Taurus Mars takes things extremely slow, which I'm fine with.

I tend to chase and like the chase due to my Venus in Aries placement, but I am hesitant to chase or confess anything at the moment because of the pulling away.

He’s probably interested if he’s messaging you, Aries aren’t big on messages, takes effort. But I think you can only really know if he likes you when you meet up, because there is so much more to what people say, other than words.

Yeah that's what I intend to do. I've dated a Sag Moon before and I know that I would have to not focus on naming anything. Plus it's something I am open to not doing either since it may complicate things. Especially since we live at different parts of the state.

True. We did make a lot of future plans, and if they happen then it's probably a good sign. I'll definitely have to be more observant of his body language, but also enjoy the moment when we do meet up again.

So I have an update on this situation.

So we ended up hanging out last week and he was extremely shy around me. Overall we had a good time, at the end of it we hugged tightly and then we said our goodbyes. I'm very awkward about them, but we are seeing one another again not this weekend but the next.

So I told him yesterday how I felt via text and basically I expressed my interest saying I want to get to know him a lot more, have new experiences and enjoy one another's company because we have such good energy together and I really enjoy his company and talking to him. I said this in a non-committal way because we both agreed that we don't have enough time to be in a relationship and prefer things to evolve more naturally. Also, that we need an understanding of space and each growing individually etc. So I asked him if he was open to this and his response was " yeah that's completely fine, we have many more journeys to come across, you aren't going anywhere"

So I mean I'm assuming that's a good response. However, he kinda went silent afterwards, which I think may be him thinking about everything, which is fine to me. But idk I guess I'm just surprised at how shy this Aries is compared to other Aries that I know.

So you guys both agreed that you dont want a relationship and then you ask for a relationship without calling it a relationship?

I think things are looking good and he is interested. Just go with the flow. The only Aries I know with Pisces venus behave very shy if he is interested but very friendly to everyone else 😄

lol ok, I know that sounds confusing. We talked about not really seeking a relationship, aka hunting for people to date and would prefer it to happen naturally because we both have experiences of using dating apps etc. and it not working out (this was a past conversation that we had a few weeks prior to hanging out this past week), so I just expressed my interest saying that I would like to continue spending time with one another, getting to know one another in a deeper level, but I explained it in a non-committal way (I don't wanna freak him out).

I guess my definition of relationship is commitment, and it's something I'm open to doing but I'm not the type to jump into something like that right away. I basically want to feel him out a bit more and see where it goes. I wanted to see if he had similar feelings, if he didn't then I would put boundaries and keep it completely platonic.

Funny because I am Aries Venus and Taurus mars and I am quite shy if I like someone. I wonder if both placements made him extra shy.

Nope. At least me. I get really shy with people I like. Barely can talk. I get so nervous and want to make a good impression, so instead of saying something silly I get quiet. Also with communication in the beginning I try to have a good amount of time in between talking, I hate to smother people or decrease my value by responding too much or talking to much to the person. I need time in between. That also helps me see things clearer as well.

Yeah I got that vibe from him. When we first met, he wasn't shy at all. Then this time around he was extremely shy, I kept checking up on him to make sure he was fine, and he said he was. We plan on going to another concert together next weekend, so I will be seeing him then. In terms of communication, after I expressed my interest on Monday, we exchanged a few messages yesterday and today we haven't talked at all. I'm assuming he might be trying to process everything or is probably just busy, but it's not something that's worrying me. I agree with having time in between talking, I actually prefer it that way, like I like consistency but I don't like non-stop texting back and forth for consecutive days.
